Welcome to the Roamingwood Sewer & Water website! As a customer of RS&W, we ask that you visit this website on a regular basis to keep yourself up-to-date with the latest information or announcements.
The next Board Meeting is scheduled for Wed., May 25th 2016 at 5:00pm at our Main Office.
Coatesville, a small city in Chester county, sold it's water and sewer utilities for $48 million to the Pennsylvania American Water Company in 2001. After the sale and a three year rate freeze expired, combined bills increased an average of 282 percent.
Over the past several years, we’ve all become accustomed to the mandatory restrictions on water usage during holiday weekends. In the past, the ability to supply water each year was threatened by an increasing community demand for this vital resource in addition to a large number of system-wide leaks. Our community members have made a great effort to help maintain an adequate water supply for our increased population in past years and we thank you.
We are happy to announce that due to a reduction in water system leaks as well as reduced withdrawals from RS&W wells, a Mandatory Ban will NOT be in effect for this Memorial Day weekend; however, a voluntary non-essential water use restriction remains in effect.
RS&W is asking Members to please use water wisely.
